The Roaches is a 505 meter-high ridge that soars above Leek and Tittesworth Reservoir. Its prominent position means it’s a great place for walkers and hikers. Lud’s Church is a steep chasm of rock located in the Dark Peak, hidden amongst the trees of the Back Forest. This is an ALL DAY event

About the event
This walk is suitable for all ages but requires a relatively good level of fitness. It is classed as moderate but will be challenging due to the length (10 miles). It will require a full day.
Parking
Roach Road, Upper Hulme, Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 8TY There is free layby parking along much of this road, you may need to drive further down to find a space if you arrive later.
