Enjoy this 9.3-km out-and-back trail near Clitheroe, Lancashire. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes about 3 hours to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.

About the event
This trail takes in a sustained and steady uphill all the way to the summit of Pendle Hill. Once here, there are lovely views on a clear day of the surrounding hills and valleys so this route is best attempted in good weather conditions. Keep an eye out for wildlife as well as wild flowers during spring and summer months. Parts of this trail are very muddy and slippery with rougher terrain, care should be taken and appropriate footwear worn.
This walk is not suitable for new walkers who are not experienced. Please make sure you have good hiking boots. walking sticks and approopriate clothing. It is high up!
There are no toilets on this walk.
