The first and longest established Mosque in Ashton-under-Lyne. After prayer we will walk to Stamford Park, about 15 minutes walk. The park is situated on the historic boundary between Ashton under Lyne & Stalybridge. It has a small wooded area, boating lake and plenty of flowers too

The first and longest established Mosque in Ashton-under-Lyne. Previously located on Newton Street in an old converted school building, it relocated to a purpose built Mosque and Community Centre in the heart of Ashton-under-Lyne on Hillgate Street in 2010.
It provides a luxurious and comfortable prayer capacity for 1000 congregants; 700 allocated spaces for men and 300 for women.
An additional 1500 capacity is immediately available in the adjacent community centre and atrium hall. The Ashton Central Mosque spans over 3 floors with a bespoke 14000 Egyptian cut crystal chandelier as its centre piece.
Please note dhuhr prayer is 2.00pm. Please arrive early.
