How did you feel after the walk
This was a really nice walk to stretch and start walking again after the lockdown ... it wasn’t too long and wasn’t too strenuous ... met some lovely people while taking in great views and really nice company. Even though I came alone I spoke to many in my group all who were so lovely and friendly
Relieved!
Felt great
Refreshed and ready for the next walk despite the incident
I was tired today probably after a long walk
Really enjoyed the views and the company.
Do you have any ideas on what else we can do to make things safer?
I liked the bring a plastic bag to sit on ... which was suggested this morning in the telegram group ... worked very well
Proper clothing and boots
I think we should restrict to only 1 group of 6 per location per time. We need more 'go to' people to facilitate this. We should also have a deadline for registration and people need to register their whole family if they are all coming and not say last minute that others are coming too. This affects group size obviously but also in organising everyone. Admin need to be strict with the deadline too.
Go local
Maybe have more people who know the way/go to people ... then could possibly stagger the times groups leave and there could be a leader for a smaller number of groups and people could stay further apart ?
Is there anything you have learned today that will help you next time?
Use water proof trousers
Make sure to wear waterproof trousers
Be aware of the local people
Any overall feedback?
Fantastic walk... many thanks to our group leader Taibah and for the team that organised it...
After lockdown this was freedom
I had a wonderful time. Great to get back to the group walks and enjoyed meeting and chatting to people.
