About the event
The views over Bollington are well worth the climb, particularly for a picnic on a fine day. There are several paths up, some easier than others, but really worth the effort. A place of great beauty.
The climb up is definitely not for the faint hearted, and good walkng shoes are a must as some of the steps, of which there are many, have worn away over the years. But once you reach the top, it's well worth it. We took a different route down which was slightly easier underfoot.
