Scaling heights to Restore Britain's First Mosque
Join us for a meaningful charity climb led by Akke Rahman, the first British Muslim to summit Everest twice. In suppor of restoring the historic Abdullah Quilliam Mosque, founded in 1887. Organised by Friends of Abdullah Qulliam Society. Chief guest Mohammed Jobayed Hosen, Assistant High Commissioner for Bangladesh in Manchester.
This walk is a joint walk with South Manchester Muslim Walking Group and the Friends of Abdullah Qulliam Society to help raise funds for the mosque.
