About the event
This is a lovely parkland trail taking you from Disley train station, around Lyme Park, and back to the start past Higher Poynton and along the Macclesfield Canal. Along the way you will pass through open meadows and moorland and scenic woodland as well as wind beside the canal and Bollinhurst Brook. There are also a number of historic structures and buildings, including the Cage and Lyme Hall. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you make your way round, but take care on the rougher sections, especially in wetter conditions.
